I figured you’d like to know – SalesNav is not nearly as bad as I used to think it was. I’ve been using Salesforce.com now for over a month. When I found out that my new company was using Salesforce, I was really impressed because I knew how popular (and expensive) it was. Well, I gotta tell you, it is not that great. And to me it is not any better than Sales Navigator was (with the exception of reporting). Salesforce is just as complicated (maybe more) and is just as difficult to use (especially for logging short phone calls) as SalesNav ever was. And Salesforce has a million buttons, tabs and text boxes to sort through just to try and do what you want to do. It really looks like it was built for companies the size of HP and IBM and it does not scale down or simplify for smaller companies like ours. Hrumph!!!
Please know that I have always “sung your praises” around here, but especially lately, The Action Reminder program has been very helpful to me in trying to “regroup” after the crash, and you have been SO AVAILABLE, and so VERY helpful in getting everything up and running again. I don’t know what I’d do without your very patient assistance! This morning you solved something in a couple of seconds, that Chad and I had been trying to accomplish for literally, HOURS. And most importantly, you are NICE about it!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU , THANK YOU.
